Gold feathers are collectibles, which you can get by playing with guest birds. When playing with the guest bird, the score bar in levels displays a tiny feather in addition to the three stars. If your score reaches that feather and you pass the level, you’ll be awarded with a golden feather. You can select the bird to play with from the pre-level screen before you enter the level.
